The History of the T-Shirt

Nowadays we all love T-shirts, their light, comfortable style easy to wear with, well, anything. But when did we actually adopt the T-Shirt as a fashion classic? Well.. we've delved deep to find some interesting facts about the 'T-Shirt' so named because of it's 'T' shape.  The T-shirt was first issued to the U.S. Navy sometime around the Spanish American War, and were meant to be used as a form of underwear, it soon became standard issue to new recruits.
